Since Feb 24, every time I leave Ukraine, I carry one fear: what if there’s nothing to come back to?
So I did a photoshoot in traditional 🇺🇦 clothing - to hold on to who we are.
This is what we are fighting for: our culture, traditions, language, beauty and identity! Preserving it is our destiny 💙💛

Today is a very sad day here at home. The day the life of my gf and her son changed in a couple of hours. They tried to stay in Ukraine after the war started, but then they decided to run away.
My gf, her son, her friend Viktoria and her daughter Veronika.
They didn’t have a final destination, they just tried staying in some places in Poland, without success, they kept going.
They slept on the streets, on train stations, everywhere. Finally after 15 days they found a safe place to stay, a job and they started a new life.
I’m very happy and glad then we met in Slovakia and are now together, but the reason that she had to leave her stable life in Ukraine it was the worst.
I can’t even imagine what they had to go through…
She is a fucking strong and powerful person. I am proud of you Hanna! Love you ❤️
