æon: INITIAL REVIEW The lab has recorded a new finding. Five Spectrals were identified. No historical thread could be traced back to their origin. The lack of reference material was initially treated as an incomplete record, but further analysis suggests something else: these objects may not be missing from this archive. They may not have originated within this temporal structure at all. We're designating this finding æon. This begins a joint research effort between S41 and @tinyrainboot. The first layer is now available for observation. Further analysis is underway.

æon is finally out! modesty aside, it looks sick af. funny how this came together. tiny sent me the idea on a sunday. i immediately started figuring out what these screens even were. on tuesday, i had one in my hands and arduino installed. there was no back-and-forth. no "should we do it?" no "is this gonna sell?" æon is just a continuous "lfg." five small manifestations of fucking around and finding out. art, tech and jewelry. i'm really proud of it. besides the obvious (getting into electronics), this project also pushed me to finally buy the spectral41.com domain, start a newsletter, and get more comfortable showing my work + myself. it's just a board with pixels inside, and something around it. but it's also much more than that.

æon: PUBLIC RELEASE The investigation enters a new phase today. One of the five documented æons has already left laboratory conditions. DENSA entered independent observation during the pre-release period, making it the first finding to continue under conditions the lab can no longer reproduce. The remaining four findings, GYRUS, ALATA, VOLUTA, and FILUM, are now available for independent observation. Each æon records a distinct crossing state. Documented behavior remains unchanged, but every new observer introduces conditions unique to that finding. What happens next is no longer ours to record alone. spectral41.com/aeon
