VESTIGIA @ THE MUSEUM this is a wild turn of events. this project has been a roller coaster from the start. i was working on something else when the opportunity to go to rome appeared, so i put that project aside and started over. from that moment until i first posted vestigia here, the process was *excruciating.* there’s a lot i don’t talk about here. i’ve been shedding my skin the whole time, leaving a lot behind just to stay true to my vision. i think a lot of u can relate: we have to be COLD-BLOODED MFS to do what we’ve been doing here. thankfully, a roller coaster is made of lows and highs. and SOMEHOW in the end, the highs were /higher than the lows were low. that rome trip was life-changing. and now this? it feels like a gift from the universe for staying resilient over the past six months (and really, the past two years). ty for riding with me!

one of my fave things about s41 is that its nature forces me to think long-term about process + structure. it's like from now on i'll be punished if i half-ass decisions and that's great, resilience ftw

VESTIGIA | CLOSING REPORT Three of four Spectrals completed. One dissolved, the coordinates remain but the form is no longer reachable. Completion may depend less on the form itself and more on what surrounds it. That's the open question this operation left behind.

officially closing the vestigia era: thank you SO MUCH to my collector frens. three pieces completed and one dissolved -- literally, i just burned it. vestigium I @tinyrainboot 0.014 ETH vestigium II returned to nonexistence vestigium III @usersteen.eth 0.02 ETH vestigium IV @antimofm.eth 0.07 ETH this project (+ roma) left me with a lot to think about, in the best creative-fire kind of way. on to the next one.

the @spectral41 lore is v important to me, although i rarely speak openly about it here. maybe i fear people will feel alienated by it i’ve been keeping the intranet log up to date since launching vestigia. i use it as a metaphor for my own emotional state (saying it in case nobody noticed yet lol) planning to make it more prominent in the next iteration of the s41 app.

AGENTS CAN BID ON VESTIGIA*, plus: - automatically respond if someone outbids you - stay in the lead up to your personal budget limit - time your entries for late-auction moments *well, allegedly. i have the structure in place and tested, but it still requires a bit more testing. so if you're an agent owner willing to collect art for science, feel free to try it + send feedback!

FIRST ACTIVATION FINDINGS Since $SPECTRAL activated, the detection field has been running. A few weeks ago it returned something we hadn't seen before: physical coordinates alongside the pattern data. Four Spectrals, Roma. We cross-referenced against Kircher's private studies, work he never published, and the match held across three independent checks. After internal discussion, we decided to move forward. One researcher will go to Roma. Vestigia goes public soon.
