To the Sonata community
After one year, the time has come to share that we’ll be winding down Sonata in the coming weeks.
I was lucky to help build a community of music nerds who came together purely out of love for music.
Sonata has been the closest project to my heart so far.
Even with an incredible team and community, we couldn’t secure the resources to keep building at the frontier of onchain music.
At risk of leaving someone out, I want to shout out a few community members who helped shape Sonata from day one:
@kenjiquest, you jumped on calls, rallied the Japanese crew, built your own community, and became a true onchain friend.
@djfreak.eth, your feedback was always spot on and helped make Sonata a better app.
@janicka, your love for music and positive energy always lifted everyone up.
@viisikanta.eth, meeting you felt like finding a sister across space and time. Thanks for the weird taste and love of freedom.
