ive been too busy irl to push out qbase updates and my bartle test š but one early hypothesis:
we've lost a lot of the achiever types. either to their own growth beyond fc or bc what motivated them to be here is gone. this was pre-acquisition btw. if confirmed, we should prob focus on drawing them back in

unsurprisingly similar to the story of recent riots in the UK that began with social media posts about immigrant murderers, later proven false. it would follow that the tension and bigotry wont end here either.
racist scapegoating and hatebait is obv not new, but its def spreading faster than it did before. feels like the mix of brandolini's law x social media + antiwoke/ fakenews + vocal ideological founders like elon is setting up a perfect storm for an age of disinformation and manipulation of the discourse. add in more ai and more 'personalization' (read bubble) and hswaf as a species fr

recently rewatched the newest bond movies and it struck me that the horizon of the world has closed in on us in the modern age. theres very little exotic left. most of it was filmed in italy, with jamaica and cuba being the only other locales (besides the evil island lair). the only frontier left is digital. izo this is having profound effects on the world psyche that are palpable but hard to pin down
