QUESTION: Background story: Scoop3 is an onchain podcast player where if you listen to an eligible podcast episode, you will receive loyalty badge (NFT/ERC1155) that signifies you listened to the episode. As you can tell, this connects the podcaster to their audience on crypto rails. Anyway, now the question, if you're a podcast listener, would you rather: A) Receive an ERC1155 that consists of the audio of the podcast episode. You would have to pay (might be per episode, might be monthly, annual, etc.) B) Receive an ERC1155 that consists of just a badge (graphic), but no audio. It'd be a free service though. Would you rather A or B?

Just an update, which is not really an update...this is still an issue. 🙁 I have some ideas on how to fix this so it won't happen again in the future...but for now, we have to actually get the issue patch.

GM all! It seems since the Degen migration, Scoop3 freezes on this screen. I’m not sure why that is, as I don’t think the migration should impact apps built on Degen, but I’m about to jump on a call with our devs to troubleshoot! TLDR: we’re investigating 🫡

Episodes are not being tokenized and the ones that are tokenized are not being minted successfully despite fulfilling the criteria. Investigating.

gm all, I expect a new build to be pushed this week which will include: - Update on how notifications are rendered - intermittent bug with pop-up saying that the podcast was not minted (even though it was and shows up in your wallet) Concurrently also working on the admin panel for podcasters. :)

App issue crashing resolved yesterday. There is a separate issue where new episodes being dropped by supported podcasts are not being tokenized. This is related to some updates we're making to the admin panel. The best time to make these updates is over the weekend since podcast episodes don't drop very often on Saturdays/Sundays. To recap, this will only impact episodes dropped today and tomorrow. :)

So I found out from Jason@Moxie that Streamm & Farhouse will be rolling out Moxie support soon. I'll be testing this out personally, and see how it works. One major asset I bring to the table is that not only I am building Scoop3, but I have had my own podcast for a few years now. 😎 I'll be able to gauge whether or not this makes sense for Scoop3 to support, and what that would look like. 🔭 (also to be clear, Scoop3 is NOT competitive to either Streamm or Farhouse 🙂)

Scoop3 update: ✔️ The player works great. You'll probably be seeing a slow down in the rate of builds being pushed out because aside from optimizations and minor bugs, the player has become lower priority. ✔️ Shifting gears, we're focusing heavily on podcaster panel. There are some bugs, and also some UX/UI improvements we can make. We'll need some more improvement and iteration here to open this part up more to the public.
