India 🇮🇳 and the United States 🇺🇸 will work together to more than double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a joint press conference with President Donald Trump. President Trump noted India's recent move to reduce tariffs on some imports and said he would begin talks to resolve trade differences, hoping to reach a deal. The US will increase arms exports to India from this year and will supply F-35 fighter jets in the future.

Update on the SEC vs. Coinbase The SEC requested a 28-day extension (to March 14, 2025) to file a response to Coinbase's petition for permission to file an appeal. Similar to the lawsuit between the SEC and Binance, the SEC said the newly formed crypto task force is a factor that could affect the outcome of the appeal as well as the entire lawsuit. There is no surprise because currently the SEC only has an Acting Chairman, while the official Chairman is still waiting for approval from the National Assembly.

South Korea will allow charities, universities and exchanges to sell crypto they receive in donations or from trading fees to pay salaries, taxes and operating expenses, starting in the second quarter of this year. By the second half of the year, about 3,500 listed companies and professional investment institutions will be allowed to open real-name accounts for crypto trading on a pilot basis.

Arizona’s State Bitcoin Reserve Bill 🇺🇸 has just passed the Arizona Senate, allowing state agencies to accept crypto payments for fines, taxes, and fees. The bill now moves to the House of Representatives for approval. Arizona becomes the second state to have a Bitcoin bill pass a legislative chamber. Once fully approved by the state legislature, the final step is for the governor to sign it into law. Things are moving fast!
