This will be unpopular but imo whether clanker / Farcaster burns token fees on an ongoing basis or not is pretty immaterial and project founders shouldn't stress it one way or another Obviously this assumes Farcaster is not full stack dumping low marketcap coins (like _ _ _ cough cough) but really, it doesn't matter so much FC should probably twap out of 1/2 of claimed token fees for anything with a mc north of say 5m mc Just do it slowly, the headline that people will like is the most bullish one ($ spent buying back clanker) and any project that can't sustain a modest twap sell of say .25-.5% of the token supply at a higher mc ($5-10m feels like the sweet spot for some light selling) is NGMI anyway Can't think of a single post about $drb that has mentioned the extremely thoughtful and modest twap bankr had on I'll caveat all of this to say when I was in the drivers seat I was mostly too scared to sell, but boy did I want to (thoughtfully, modestly) on a few occasions

If I had seen king's token I'd have max bid, but I spend a lot of time smelling the breeze like a dog, laying out in a patch of sun chilling until the Base Undertaker arrives to take me out behind the barn and dispatch me with a single, clean blow (nothing personal, I'm just no longer a producer for them) But yeah the king token is obvious: dwr's favorite hater? The guy who talked shit about clanker all day early on? He launched a clanker? I'm bidding for sure

One thing that always happens when you're on the scent is people underestimate you. A lot of teams and founders ar confident, hungry etc and we all deserve both support and ppl underestimating us. Failure is likely! lots of people are insecure and when some1 outworks the crowd, there are always those who find it easier to dismiss than to respect it. Especially when ur not already on a pedastle, universally recognized as being someone worthy of respect, a known entity. if u are gutter grade this is guaranteed. you see people attribute results of talent & hard work to luck, chance, some sort of secret scheme. If that doesn't fit, we can always pathologize. last resort? Call them a marketer. It's harder to look at someone and say 'they are lucky, and talented. They work hard and i dismissed them because of my myriad ambitions and insecurities." It's lowkey rly powerful to become stupid. Don't be fake, but never let them catch u studying flash cards. Say "huh?" a lot. Swear. Make mistakes. And then win

Really like the simplicity of the exexcution here, and the clarity of the concept. Launch reminded me of clanker in some ways, in the best sense. with my work back in the day I became super aware a week or two post launch how we were helping to solve for a gap in the funding market. What was it? Our space was filled with funded startups, and super large scale, established incumbents. But our smol home also had essentially no scalable solutions for funding solo founders w/o big-name rep, and the centralized social hierarchy meant anyone outstide the established influencer class or Current Thing cabal really struggled to get any attention on the feed. Builders were attracted to the tool kit available on bae and fc, but aside from Dan and Jesse posting about projects, who was really funding these kind of devs? A few boutique options were available. Degen DAO, purple, base grants, OP retro funding all come to mind. No shade to these btw, great initiatives. Clanker provided day 0 revenue and marketing 1/2

Opening move would be to offer Matt a role doing ops I wonder how much he'd need to go full time on it, guy is extremely hungry. Rn I have 30k budgeted for rent, student loan repayment set aside and 100k left + tokens Wouldn't want to touch the tokens, I'd probably need them to allo to a dev and a ops guy Godmode concept is fleshed out but needs to go through the pain of shipping it Lot to consider
