The tile artwork created by the students has now been installed at the gate of Denbō Elementary School in Fuji City. Pip @pip visited the school with us at the end of last year, and we supported this project as advisors. This was the unveiling of the tile art.

The window art for “Carry On Ryushi’s Spirit! Museum Door Project” at the Yugawara Museum of Art is now complete. Together with the art club students of Yugawara Junior High, we co-created this piece with local kids — carrying forward the spirit of Ryushi through collective creativity. This project embodies what we believe Nouns is about: community-driven art, open participation, and culture that anyone can build. The window installation will remain on view until after Golden Week. We have decided on all the new colors to be developed for our noun Kitpas and are now entering the production stage. We are planning to deliver them to children in Uganda in August this year. Please look forward to it. This picture shows me sketching with the chipboard, cool gray, and warm gray that arrived at my office.

We had an online meeting with the president of Kitpas. Regarding the development of new colors, we shared potential “Nounish” color options, including their shades and color codes. We also mentioned that we aim to make the product available in four languages: Japanese, English, Spanish, and Swahili. Until now, Kitpas products have not included individual color names. However, as the number of colors increases, there is a growing need to identify each one clearly. We believe that labeling only in Japanese could be as limiting as having no color names or instructions at all, which is why we are working toward multilingual support. We also shared ideas for color names such as Noggles Red, Warm and Cool for backgrounds, Hip Rose, RGB, Black Hole, Lilac, Lavender, and Chip Board Green. We are really looking forward to seeing these new colors reflected in the Kitpas lineup. Developing new colors takes time, but we’ll continue to provide updates as we move forward.

when we were working on proposal 646 @supriyo.eth reached out to ask if he could send me 100 pairs of Quack and Lola ™️ for the School Handover / Launch Event. What humbles me is that the Children Gravitated towards these Nounish Characters and we didn’t even have to ask them. Quack and Lola as teaching AIDs is what the school management committee took from this. Many pairs were taken by the community and some remain in the classrooms of Ndurumo Primary School.
