@sartocrates
this is actually amazing.
What’s new?: “upvoting” is now functional directly through the front end in the NET Library. “Upvoting” is the onchain social primitive of net protocol. It is powered by the token $alpha: essentially, whenever you upvote something on @netprotocol (applies to anything: tokens , profiles , content uploaded to net storage of all kinds, etc) , you receive back $alpha tokens and leave a permanent onchain mark of approval on whatever you upvote. What is remarkable here is that @geaux.eth has demonstrated for the first time that it is totally possible to integrate upvoting directly into a frontend application without having to interact with the core netprotocol.app website at all. - bottomline: @netprotocol is the onchain data layer and so much more is possible than most any of us have imagined…
the onchain data layer is just getting started 🟩
