@kevinoconnell
After a pretty long hiatus (~6 years), I'm getting back into being a Catholic.
- I recently got a bible, growing up as a Catholic I've read parts of it for homework, etc - but never have read fully end to end.
- I started going to mass again this year.
Why did I stop?
- Church to me felt like homework growing up, which turned me off of it
- I never talked about it with people, which made me over time associate less with my faith
In general, I’m more excited about my faith than I’ve been in a long time.
I want to do my part to live in a world that is less hateful, one where we can share our opinions and/or disagree with others in a diplomatic way. From my experience, startups do an amazing job at this. My hope is that the rest of the world can do the same.
People should know I am a multifaceted person with different interests/beliefs, and you are the same (and ideally, I can learn what those facets are!)
Going to leave this with the following:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Matthew 22:39
