i have a highly curated list of my favorite things on kauai. it includes hikes, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and general tips for being a good visitor to the island i call home. a well known NFT artist is using it right now and having the time of their lives. i’ll gladly share it with you if: - you have a trip to kauai planned - i know you or we have a couple good mutual who can vouch for you; and - you don’t share it outside your travel partners i don’t mean to gatekeep it, but also, i do. kauai is a special and sacred place and should be regarded as such. i’m also happy to answer any q’s anyone has about hawai’i at large. i don’t have a list for every island, but have traveled to each one extensively. have already helped a few farcasters plan some trips and happy to point more of you in the right direction.

zuckerburg has ~1500 acres of land more than i own on my home island of kaua’i, but unlike me, he will never be of this land, and of these people. you can’t buy Hawaiian.

Another big fire in Hawaii, this time on /kauai They have most of it under control but the videos I’m seeing from friends and fam are pretty scary. Kaua’i is The Garden Island and most of the burnt area is ag land, thankfully. Last thing we need is a Maui repeat.

Well that was fun. While none of these songs exactly hit the vibe of this particular party, I did find some new gems (@evanmann )and relistened to some classics (i see you @adrienne). Just found this old pic of Hanalei lookout that my grandparents shot in the 40s or 50s. The interesting thing is this valley really hasn’t changed that much at all. And I absolutely love that. kauaiaswhy.

i was born and raised on the island of kaua’i. know every nook and cranny like the back of my hand. hmu for the best food, sunset spots, and of course … /adventure activities prob won’t share the best surf spots tho … gotta save some stuff for the locals 😉
