The first four pics were cast in /food to catch you up you added some salt & pepper a dallop of dijon you chopped up a chunk of a shallot (if you use anything less, then the shelf life is a week) Now you're all caught up lets go... add like a shot-glass pour of red wine vinegar, its strong (the acidity varies by region & brand) then almost fill the jar, or whatever you used, with EVOO cut it with a splash of water if its too acidic shake shake shake honestly, go to the store and see how much sugar they put in all the dressing. you can play around with flavors, try garlic.

if you use WD-40 to lubricate stuff just know that it's not a great lubricant. it's more of a cleaner than anything, but its also 10 things if you need 1 thing in a pinch. If you want to oil something up at home, or something important then use something that is engineered to keep things lubed up for a long time without drying out and becoming sticky or leaving a film. this household oil from ace hardware is a champion for your door hinges and home appliances WD-40 isnt going to be a big mistake, but it's just not even near being the best choice for keeping something lubricated over time. WD-40 will dry faster than the proper oil, way faster, it will also leave a film you or the next-guy will have to deal with that. For some reason the Ace Oil is hard to find, and if you can't find any then Starrett is a little more specific to machinists, but its a similar product. Oil your tooling so it doesnt rust when its sitting around in your shop/garage/pantry. a single drop per application is really all it takes.

making something for the house replacing a housing and handle that was previously wood and plastic coppers cool cuz unless you’re putting it in vinegar and salt, it’ll last a long time A lot of my home projects are just replacing things with copper version 🤷‍♂️

i did better with knobs two things immediately changing 1.) the round knob needs to flare out where it meets the door like the hex does 2.) both need polishing; tried the patina, sometimes it looks cool, sometimes it looks dirty oligodynamic properties are lost when polished

when he sleeps i go and move my feet university of chicago life sciences lab built in the 70s because of the gothic architecture of many university buildings the architects take on modern gothic these brick ventilation systems make the castle like appearance of gothic style bldg each column of bricks are dedicated ventilation shafts so this bldgs lungs are on the exterior

i can walk to ohare airport from here northwest side of chicago near talcott and halsted a lot of these homes take up the entire build area of the property and it’s really cool, there’s grass at the park

going thru an old closet and found these adorable af lil jackets my moms aunt made my boys only that they never really fit in them so they’re so fresh my moms aunt… holy moly. now that’s a story. the woman made my moms life really hard. after she lost her son to a murder and daughter to cancer and husband to stroke she spent the last 20 years of her life chain smoking, raising her grandkids and making good with my mom. the pain was in her face, but she hid it behind such kindness for my wife and boys. aw man i think this is gonna make me cry

you can use this for pickling or you can use it to dissolve broken taps, and pieces of copper aluminum or really anything else that doesn’t rust like steel you can find it in the spice aisle

as I’m making a post for the /rwacu channel i’m walking around head down in phone. A worker bursts into the office and just starts making demands. “I need somebody to press the sleeves into parts” then on his way out of the office he’s still yelling “These effing Mexicans are lazy.” he used “effing” The guys Mexican he barely speaks English it’s Friday, I don’t wanna deal with this. Dude was born and raised in Tijuana and he hates Mexicans. He says it all day long. Bro, you’re Mexican.
