For now, API access is request-based by default. Over time, we’ll transition toward an access model based on actual GENY token usage. Thanks to OpenProof, every account created within Genyleap becomes a unique identity across the ecosystem. That means linking other accounts — whether Farcaster, X, GitHub, or anything else — does not replace or redefine your primary Genyleap identity. These connected accounts simply become additional trust, reputation, and verification signals attached to the same identity. For example, if your Farcaster account is linked today, we may later be able to evaluate your Farcaster activity, reputation, or achievements as part of the same Genyleap identity. The same principle can apply to X, GitHub, wallets, and other platforms as integrations expand. That is one of the main reasons I built OpenProof: to remove dependency on any single platform. Your social accounts should not be your identity. They should simply strengthen it.

What OpenProof does? OpenProof sits between the ways a person can prove who they are and the applications that need to trust that identity. Different sign-in methods converge into one canonical OpenProof identity. Applications receive OAuth/OIDC tokens; they do not need to own provider credentials, wallet proofs, passwords, or the OpenProof browser session. The important part is the convergence: the same person can sign in with several methods without becoming several unrelated product accounts. For example, a user can first sign in with GitHub and later attach an Ethereum wallet. Both proofs can resolve to the same OpenProof subject, so the application still sees one user.

Genycaster may eventually have its own private messaging layer. Not just “DMs” added on top of Farcaster — but a separate, end-to-end encrypted messaging architecture where only the sender and recipient can read the conversation. - No plaintext on the server. - No private keys on the server. - No developer access to private messages. - No dependency on Farcaster Direct Casts. The idea is to build it around GSMP — Genyleap Secure Messaging Protocol: an open, independent secure messaging protocol with native multi-device support, forward secrecy, encrypted attachments, offline delivery, and device revocation. Farcaster could provide the social identity. GSMP would provide the privacy layer. So Genycaster could become more than just a Farcaster client: your public social identity on Farcaster, with private conversations that truly belong to you. Still exploring it — but this is the direction I’d want private messaging in Genycaster to take.

gm fc! Some people have reported to me that when they open their @farcaster wallet (Warplet), they suddenly think their $GENY is gone. Don’t panic. As I mentioned before, this is a Warplet display issue. Your tokens are still exactly where they should be. Nothing has been moved, touched, or lost. https://farcaster.xyz/compez.eth/0xad91095e You can simply import your Farcaster wallet recovery phrase into Rabby or MetaMask, and you’ll see your lovely GENY sitting safely in place. Nobody has access to your tokens unless you expose your own wallet keys or recovery phrase. So please don’t worry. 👌 I’ve already removed every scammer, abuser, and bad actor I could from the ecosystem over the past few months. The main treasury is safe, and it is locked away for future distributions. I’m also following up with the Farcaster team so this wallet display issue gets resolved properly. @rish @shreyas-chorge Your $GENY is safe. Stay calm. I’m on it. 🔥
