I wrote a review of Kodak's new 35mm point and shoot camera over on Twitter because I needed to share NSFW examples and they aren't so prude... TLDR if you don't want to spend a lot on a p&s it's a fantastic choice. https://x.com/drivenbyboredom/status/2047769794301046897

I got ten rolls of film developed yesterday. You can sponsor one of them for the price of film/development and I will send you one of the rolls and you can pick your favorite shot and I send you back a signed print of that photo. It's a lot of fun and helps me keep shooting film. https://www.shopdbb.com/product/sponsor-a-roll-of-film-cheap-8-x-10-print

I took this photo while January 6 was happening. I think she's literally watching the TV in this shot. We were supposed to be doing a sexy photoshoot but we took maybe 10 photos total because we were just watching in horror.

I made out with this model in a NYC nightclub in 2009 and then didn't see her again until I was at a party in LA a few years later and ran into her. We exchanged contact info and talked about taking photos but it didn't happen for years. We did three or four photoshoots at her apartment between 2018 and 2019 and we didn't publish many of them because I was working for Playboy back then and we were hoping they might end up there. My last job for Playboy got canceled because it was supposed to happen in March of 2020. During the pandemic I was running out of photos to post so I put together a gallery of just the 35mm photos we shot, and there were so many good ones. The plan was for me to come back to her place once the pandemic was over and we'd go through everything, pick out the photos we both loved and do one more shoot and publish the photos... but she ended up getting a job as an elementary school teacher and decided we shouldn't post any of the sexy photos online. Truly tragic because there are so many I love but that's just how it goes sometimes...

I was trying to find a good story for you guys and I opened a random folder that had a bunch of film film from mid May through June 2013 in it and I cannot believe how much shit happened in my life during that time and so you are just gonna get a thread with a bunch of mini stories. Many of these photos are pretty bad and have been unpublished for a reason but they are still worth sharing because I was living a pretty fun life back then...

I found a folder on my computer called "tumblr sucks" which must have been photos I wanted to upload to Tumblr right around the time they changed their policy to disallow nudity around 2018. My Tumblr was so much fun cause it was all my 35mm chaos, but obviously there was ton of NSFW content, especially around this time because I had been working on my nude instant film book Instaxxx for much of 2017. I wrote an article for Boing Boing about how this decision was going to destroy Tumblr and wrote a bit about the FOSTA/SESTA bill that was meant to "protect children" but really just became a way to censor the internet and here we are less than a decade later and even artistic nudity has been pushed to the back rooms of the internet and while Tumblr is still holding on, it's a shadow of its former self. https://boingboing.net/2018/12/03/the-death-of-tumblr.html

When I was in high school in the late 90s I had an idea for a project so I bought a disposable camera and took it to a playground and gave it to the kids and let them shoot the roll. You could obviously never do something like this now but it was really cool to see what the kids came up with.
