I had such a crush on my friend V back in like 2007 but she was married to a woman so I just assumed she was gay until I matched with her on Tinder in 2020. I ended up being the first guy she had hung out with in nearly 20 years. Weirdly enough that was not the first time I was the first guy in someone's life after a decade plus lesbian relationship. Not sure what that says about me but I feel like whatever it does say is positive.

I was in Vegas in January 2020 and I met this girl named Alex through a friend first night I got there and we had a great time and we talked about taking photos before we both went home. It kept not happening and on the last day we were there we had actual plans but then her car broke down and she took it to the shop.
I was hoping we would still have time to shoot but it was getting dark and I hadn't heard from her so I gave up and went to hang with my buddy Leroy. He had another friend in town and we all went to this flea market. About twenty minutes before sunset she finally texts me.
"My car isn't going to be fixed for another half hour, can you meet me here?"
I told Leroy I would meet him in a bit, called an Uber and rushed over to a mechanic where I met her and her friend. We wanted to shoot nudes and clearly we couldn't do that in the mechanic parking lot, so we jumped into her friend's truck and drove about a block away where there was this empty lot. There was a literal day care on one side of us so she kept her jacket on the whole time so it was only open to me (not that there were any kids still around at 6pm or whatever) and we shot for maybe ten minutes max before the sun went down.
As soon it was over I jumped back in the Uber, met up with Leroy to grab my luggage and he drove me to the airport an hour later.
To this day I love these photos and they were the last photos on the last rolls I got developed before the pandemic.

I am not a big fan of pinups in general but Bunny Yeager is one of the most underrated photographers of all time and maybe the most important "erotic" photographer ever. Her archives are being auctioned off and I was able to win some incredible contact sheets with the original negatives.
