Yesterday I went to the conference and learned a ton. The Figma VP session was insanely good! He mentioned that with the rise of AI, the gap between roles is shrinking and the scope of design is expanding. Also The design system session was super helpful too, and now I really want to learn React! I also want to create my own design system page for devs.

Oh my god Figma is introducing Slots as a native element of components to work in place of nested instances to add more composability to complex, content-variant component designs. 😭 😭 😢 Fewer component properties. More composable parts. More experimental possibilities.

TIL split tabs inside Figma are a thing. Specifically with a protoype, so you can place a live prototype in a fixed window without a separate tab.
