🚨 MEGA UPDATE AHEAD 🚨
New year…new ways to slay…new ways to earn…
⬆️ New Stats System ⬆️
The existing HP/AD/CC/AC based stats on your items is now updated with an ability points system. Your items will give you base stats, and by accumulating boosters you can allocate up to 30 points into each stat, granting up to 20 Damage, 20 HP, 100% Precision/Accuracy and 5% Luck/Crit Chance. These might get rebalanced in the coming days.
This will create a soft reset for some players, meaning that your stats will start slightly lower than previous, but is necessary for balance and better game progression, giving you more to work towards.
✨ Levels and XP ✨
Levelling is now more balanced and rewarding. The XP you gain per attack increases proportional to your level in dungeons and against enemies. Every level grants you an extra ability point to allocate into your stats.
🐾 Pets and more… 🐾
You can now bring along benefits from even more pets and other collections released over the last few months including: FarPets, Baby Warplettes, Based Blobs, Tiny Turtles and more to come. Farpets and Baby Warplettes now have unlimited level caps. Your top 6 pets are automatically selected and you can benefit from their combined levels.
⚔️ Item Stats ⚔️
All weapons and armor have been standardised and their stats reassigned to fit within the new bounds of the stats system. Damage remains the same, but Luck and Precision stats (previously Crit and Accuracy) now increase with item level and rarity.
⏭️ What’s next? ⏭️
Once things are stable, this will likely be the last big update for Slay to Earn for a little while. The game will continue for a long time to come with plenty of new enemies, dungeons, events and collaborations in the future. But I’ll be taking a break from new feature development for a little bit to focus on the next new $FARVERSE adventure. It’s a multiplayer RPG that I can’t wait to share with everyone.
