We're changing the meta, and that means it’s Prestige time. The research system has been entirely redesigned, and you now have the option to reset the farm and start collecting Prestige Peaches to get permanent sell price bonuses. ✅ Research pricing and impact has been rebalanced for everyone, focused on longer term progression and continuous impact. Your levels will have been mapped onto the new pricing system gold-for-gold so it's fair for everyone. No progress is lost, it's just deflated to improve the overall economy of the game. ✅ Prestiging resets your farm, and grants you Prestige Peaches ✅ Prestige Peaches each grant a permanent 0.02x sell price boost ✅ Prestige is based on lifetime gold earnings (and has been backdated) ✅ You keep unlocked plots + crops, but all your items, seeds and gold get reset each time you prestige. It's short term growing pains for long term growing gains farmverse.farverse.games

GM 👋 I’m still alive and kicking. Thought I would share some more updates as a few people have rightfully been asking where things are at. Farverse is still chugging along. Even in these relatively low DAU times we still have hundreds of active players across the Farverse ecosystem which is great to see! I promised a new game and it will come, my time has just been spread a bit thin recently. Farmverse still needs some finishing touches and will hopefully be released sometime soon. For the last month or so I’ve been getting back into more traditional indie game development. I'm working on a singleplayer ARPG and it's really starting to come along. It’s a much slower process than building web based mini apps, but it’s also really fun and very rewarding. The indie game dev ecosystems are much larger on X and Bluesky so I am mainly posting over there these days, but… In an effort to try and bring some of that indie game love over to Farcaster, I have started a new /indiegames channel where I’ll be cross-posting all the latest updates. If there’s other indie game lovers or developers out here I encourage you to follow and post there too!

Update on the state of the Farverse nation. A couple under the hood updates have gone out over the last couple days, mainly performance and cost optimisations. We also added a couple new items to Monverse for streak repairs and mon renaming too! Farverse is still a running well enough through these quiet times, and I still plan on launching more things soon. FARMVERSE (a cosy idle farming game) will be the next game release, most likely in a couple weeks time. My time is currently split between Farverse, and other ventures outside the crypto realm that I can hopefully share some news on sometime soon. I’m also a bit quieter on socials atm, trying to spend a bit less time chronically online for my own sanity. I’m still around, just casting less. TL;DR: Farverse lives. Less frequent updates for a while. Doing some non crypto things. farverse.games

Now that Farcaster itself is infected, every account is at risk of infection. Unfortunately, there is no vaccine or cure. The Eggman virus is highly contagious, so please be careful.
