Listening to the season closer of my fav Dutch F1 podcast, in which they also speak with the Dutch lady who was vice race director. Learned something interesting: she was the one who told the Safety Car driver how fast he could go. Their main concern with determining the speed of the safety car is to create space on track for marshals to make the track race ready again. So, if the safety car is slow, that has a very clear reason.
