also ive felt this way for a long time but it keeps getting stronger & so many aspects of my life have been the scared version of myself hiding from this kind of life ive never been rich but ive explored wealth & the conclusion im coming to (which i think is obvious to many but i always have to see it for myself) is that it does not make the majority of people happier/more at peace/more intentional. it makes people...uglier. more selfish. more judgmental. way more egotistical. spending money on things for myself, allowing people to buy me things i dont really want/need. its feeding something id rather starve.
