2015 was the year my life kinda fell apart but I look back on the photos and man I was still having a real good time both personally and creatively and maybe I should have appreciated that shit more.

Once a year since 2008 I have been going on a fishing trip with my three oldest friends. We actually don't do much fishing, a four hour boat trip once every couple of years, but it's one of my favorite weekends of the year.
Today I am flying to NYC for 48 hours and then one of them is picking me up for the trip and turning a 4 day trip into a six day one.

Every time I do a photoshoot I bring my DSLR, three film cameras (two SLRs loaded with black and white and color and one color point and shoot) an instant film camera and my phone.
I shoot with all the cameras for different reasons. Digital is content, film is for my personal work and iPhone is immediate for social. The point and shoot is mostly for moments in between shoots, but I will occasionally use it on shoots for the harsh flash, or just to mix it up a bit.
The second photo is actually from my point and shoot and the main reason you can tell is because the GR1 I was shooting with at the time has a 28mm lens which is just wide enough to notice the difference between that and the 35mm on my Leica.
