Sammy has been one of my favorite models for literally a decade. Back in 2015 she DMed me randomly because one of her friends posted some photos I took and wanted to shoot some sexy photos and somehow had never done that before. I was down of course and we did our first photo shoot. One day I was looking to kill some 35mm film before I dropped it off at the lab and she came with me and we walked over the Williamsburg Bridge from Brooklyn into the city and finished the roll of film along the way. A year or so later I photographed her for my book Instaxxx (shopdbb.com) and a year after that she moved to my neighborhood and it was on. Any time I needed to kill a roll of film I would text her (or my other muse neighbor Kirra) and we'd go wonder into the streets or shoot something on her roof or whatever and get a few quick photos. Around 2023 she moved into the city and in 2024 I moved to North Carolina and since then we've only done one photoshoot but it was a good one and I am sure we will shoot again sooner rather than later....
Here are two photos, taken in bodegas, the first circa 2018 at our local Williamsburg deli and the second at her new one on the LES in 2025.
