Of the things I find joy in and worth collecting, denim has to be the most fascinating.
From its birth in 17th century France to its workwear evolution in 19th century America, its cultural transformation in 1950s Americana and rebirth in modern day Japan, denim has a rich history that is worthy of exploring.
I created the /denim channel today with the hope of capturing some of that exploration and to connect with other denim heads and share the journey together with this community.

Realizing it’s almost spring and I haven’t worn my selvedge denim all winter. After wearing linen pants all last summer, I found it hard to go back to regular fit denim. I bought loose-fitting, cotton pants and haven’t looked back until now. I think it’s the sadist in me that thinks I can still break these in.

My biggest regret this year is not ordering this Uniqlo shirt in XS when available to replace my 12 year old Levi's shirt with an elbow hole.
