Let's Deconstruct @base.base.eth and why we chose to deploy there:
1/ At a high level, Base is an EVM compatible L2 developed by the @coinbase team designed to enhance the performance & scalability of the Ethereum chain
2/ We wanted to create a cost efficient experience for people to interact with a novel on-chain art concept, but due to the state of Mainnet gas fees & the lack of Ethereum NFT interest, we decided to explore L2 alternatives to bring our vision to life
3/ Base quickly became very promising to us as heavy users through @farcaster and @zora . The culture had begun to maneuver in, which is something we haven't seen happening on any other chains as of lately. The meta has been entirely airdrop focused
4/ We began to tune in towards the initiatives @base.base.eth was launching all over the place. When the #onchainsummer campaign hit it confirmed our belief in a rapidly growing ecosystem supporting the next wave of artists, builders, & teams innovating in the Web3 space
