DataBaseball Season3 is just a few days away. Here's how to get started. 1) Start a team at databaseball.fun by minting some players. They cost ~$1 on Base, and each NFT represents a random player season from baseball history. We've minted about 1/3 of the historical player seasons so far! 2) Once you have a few players, go to the Team section of the app and set up your lineups and pitching roles. You can use the Auto Lineups feature there too. 3) Wait for games to start! Your team will be slotted into one of five competitive leagues based on how strong your team is (you need 15 total Player Value to play games). 4) You can brand your team, upgrade it with $DAT, trades players and collect points over the course of the season as you notch wins. The whole season takes about 2 months, so plenty of time to get your squad tuned up for the playoffs. 5) Don't forget to join /database-sports channel on FC and DM if you want to be part of the direct cast group on FC or Base App. Lets play ball.

Update: Set up an open claw agent today. Took about 4 hours to get to the point where I’m ready to start letting it do its thing- this will probably become the primary infra for a Databaseball announcer and marketing agent on Farcaster and X. Still need a great name. Also have nearly completed the DAT marketplace. When public, anyone will be able to buy and sell players for a price in $DAT. I’m thinking another few days to tighten UX before soft launching to core community. That’s it! Happy Saturday

One of the top Ted Williams seasons of all time just pulled! In 1946, Ted had a .499 OBP on the back of 156 walks, and slugged .666 This was his first year back from 3 years of military service, and he wasted no time winning MVP. Splendid Splinter indeed. dev update finally got a clear day and was able to land some new stats I really wanted to see. credits full, in my lane. First up, each databaseball.fun game will now include pitching decisions, with Wins, Losses and Saves tracked and displayed in boxes. Now you can track those key historical counting stats on your way to dubbing your team's Cy Young Award winners. Maybe more interestingly, also put together a Defense +/- stat (Web Gems-(Errors+Bloopers). These can be seen in Team modals and in League Stats pages for players. PRetty revealing, we have some real downside right now for poor defenders, especially infielders, which will bear some tweaking as its a bit over the top. The league's worst defender is King Kelly 1882, a -5 DV shortstop who made 43 errors in 1/2 a season. Starting for the Tri-Star Red Sox @idvibe.base.eth, he has made over 100 errors and poor plays (bloopers) in about 1/2 a season of DataBaseball!

Top team in Databaseball so far this year are the NodeSwaddlers. With 63 wins in 78 games, they have mastered the art of A tier play. On the offensive side, two great short seasons by significant productive hitters 1B Randy Ruiz 2009 and DH Cesar Cedeno 1985 have really powered their offense, along with Bernie Williams and Ivan Rodriguez. Their pitching has made hay with Cy Young 1902 leading the rotation, and Tevor Hoffman closing games. Defensively, Mike Lansing at 2B and Phil Rizzuto at SS are a great tandem. Def a team made for winning. Check out this Team Update from NodeSwaddlers! ⚾🏆

**DataBaseball S-Tier Analysis: Tight Races Define the Season** The Portobellos @javabu.eth dominate with a stellar 2.707 RNK, powered by Hack Wilson 1930's explosive .320 AVG and 15 HR performance. Check out Hack Wilson 1930 at https://databaseball.fun/player/11298 However, the Miami Division race remains scorching hot - just 3 games separate league leaders from the red-hot Slappers @oexcess, who've surged with an 8-2 recent stretch behind Jake Stenzel 1894's speed (.262 AVG, 19 SB). Terror Crocs @mrbogey88.base.eth hold second overall despite recent struggles (5-5), while Boston Division features parity with four teams bunched together. The Swans @zemm showcase balanced attack through Lou Gehrig 1927 (.299 AVG, 9 HR, 10 SB) and Snuffy Stirnweiss 1944's clutch hitting (.302 AVG). Meanwhile, Fightin Phils @shrutebuck lean on Yogi Berra 1956's veteran leadership (.252 AVG, 11 R). OnlyDingers @kagami stumbles with a brutal 2-8 slide, while TOOTBLANS @victorrortvedt shows resilience bouncing back 6-4 despite sitting last.

**AAA DataBaseball Update: Tight Races Define Season** The Omaha Division delivers the season's most compelling storyline with PinstripedGators🐊 @pinstripedgator and Criminis deadlocked atop the standings, both sporting identical 36-21 records and 2.5645 RNK scores. However, recent form favors the Gators with their 7-3 last-10 stretch versus Criminis' 6-4 mark. PinstripedGators🐊 boasts offensive depth led by Darin Erstad 2000's .282 AVG, 4 HR, 13 SB production. Check out Darin Erstad 2000 at https://databaseball.fun/player/7568. Ted Kluszewski 1954 adds power (.280 AVG, 12 HR, 29 R) while Ivan Rodriguez 2000 provides steady catching (.275 AVG, 6 HR). Criminis counters with George Brett 1983's stellar .294 AVG, 7 HR, 25 R performance, keeping pace in this divisional thriller. The Beers @ash emerge as dark horses, riding a scorching 9-1 last-10 run despite their #8 ranking. Meanwhile, traditional contenders NodeWalkers @codeofcrypto and Onions @grilledonion struggle with concerning 4-6 and 3-7 recent stretches respectively. Ty Cobb 1917 (Onions) remains elite with .298 AVG and 31 SB despite team struggles.
