I only agree when the lockup is non-optional/inflexible. Otherwise it’s a potentially helpful tool for gauging interest/intention over a longer term. Staking alone can be dumb (Makes it harder to cash out… )
But what if you’re using the tokens actively not and do not want to sell them? Access to a service that necessitates the balance. The services beget options, options beget mechanisms. The token gates the base line service. The staking gates the savings/premium tiers/affiliate access/partner promotions…
