Today marks the end of the boating season for Sea ++
Pulled her out for the year despite the nice weather we’re having in prep of the next storm coming up north
Helene took a few vessels off their mooring and turtled my neighbor
Great season and looking forward to next year and taking friends out, new and old!

Water log 9/29
Went out fishing with my dad today. Used a sabiki rod to catch around 10 mackerel and pogies. Hooked them through the nose and trolled them looking for stripers and bluefin tuna that have been jumping in the harbor right off the shore ledge. Pics of a tuna and white shark breaching from a friend

After gathering feedback from boaters and business owners in the marine industry, I believe it's best to pivot CYC
Feedback:
- Overcomplicated: Too "formal" of an onboarding process and overkill use of technology
- Didn't understand my target audience as well as I should've: Tech fluency and age demographic is an uphill battle
- Misidentification of problem statement: Doesn't solve a real problem in the boating industry
Despite this, it's still a >$60 billion industry with increasing demand for experts in the space + scattered resources and information consolidation

Mess around with registering boats on base sepolia network today!
Mainnet coming eventually. After this test phase, I’ll be pushing it more to boaters to register their boats and get real time feedback to see what could work here and what’s missing.
