The Zora team might, though. They know who to onboard and now have the capital (in $zora) to back them.
Zora AND $zora are the differentiators. Not one without the other.

I cant sleep. For 9 months now, I've been observing how coins have served startups and their holders.
We have something VERY different in store for appcoins. Anti-sniper, startup-aligned, holder-aligned, and yes... clanker-aligned.
It may work. It may not. But we are going to give it a shot.

1. what “project coin” means to you?
2. how you see it helping builders?
i’ve been experimenting with ways to support builders for 4+ years, and this new narrative feels promising
two that i noticed so far:
→ gitfish.dev = coins for GitHub repos
→ believe.app = coins for project ideas

Any token can live onchain but how do you earn a place in people’s daily lives. Taking the leap from hype to habit.
HealthBlocks enables any token to become part of someone’s daily health routine.
Utility of tokens should fit daily routine of the community.

people think content coins and project coins are opposite visions
in fact, they are the same: our value, onchain and programmable.
they aren't connected yet, but they will be soon — and tools like @noiceapp and @zora will make the creator flywheel spin faster and faster

what if self ownership was the default and speculation was secondary? more similar to irl
art, photos, posts, etc would start as 1/1 and mint directly into your own wallet
from there, if someone wanted to accept a bid on it they'd still be able to, or they could auction it at a later date, or keep the 1/1 and do a more abundant mint down the road that everyone could collect
feels like more flexibility long term:
1. accept bids passively
2. auction later
3. keep it forever
4. release an edition or coin it later on
also the ppl who care that companies owns all their data/photos might use this more bc it’s about ownership instead of “make money”, potentially opens a new market who isn’t comfortable w financializing everything (yet)
idk just throwing some thoughts out there as someone fairly new to putting things onchain
