Okay actually they weren’t finalized... The @letshaveaword Top 10 logic needed some rethinking Top 10 rewards (the 10% of each round’s prize pool paid to its top 10 guessers) are now locked to *early participation* (the distribution percentages are the same as in the quoted cast) How it works • Only the first 750 guesses in a round count toward Top 10 • After 750 guesses, Top 10 locks • You can still guess and win the jackpot at any time This structure (crucially) incentivizes early guess purchasing (late purchasing is already incentivized by shrinking word pool) and rewards early commitment while keeping late-round jackpot drama intact. 750 is the cutoff because it’s a reasonable estimation of “early” guesses based on the canonical word list count & average # of guesses to solve The UI now displays this in real time: • Top 10 open • {N} guesses left • Top 10 locked • Jackpot still available Net effect: • Early guesses now have exclusive Top 10 upside • Late guesses are still fully eligible for the jackpot • No timers, no round-length assumptions, no contract changes So yeah. Economics are technically unchanged I guess but the logic is new. Enforcement is on the backend and payouts remain fully onchain.

Dev update for @letshaveaword: 🎯 Economics are now finalized and enforced onchain I’ve locked the canonical prize-pool economics and deployed the upgraded smart contract. All payouts now resolve atomically onchain in a single transaction. Prize pool TL;DR • 80% → jackpot winner (secret word guesser) • 10% → top-10 guessers • 10% → referrer (or redistributed if none) • No offchain accounting; no manual payouts Referral logic • Winner has a referrer → referrer gets 10% • Winner has no referrer → • 7.5% boosts the top-10 pool • 2.5% seeds the next round 🔝10 Every round, the top-10 guessers get paid — even if they don’t solve the word. I finalized a split that hopefully: • Makes ranks 6–10 always feel worth it • Rewards 1–5 progressively more • Scales cleanly as prize pools grow At typical pool sizes, ranks 6–10 will reliably earn at least one guess pack back, while ranks 1–5 capture most of the upside. And everything is deterministic, non-reentrant, and verifiable on Basescan. Onward.
