Believe is more important than works/ miracles. You do not pray because you are lazy or do not know what to pray about . It’s because you do not believe. It becomes evident when you do

Happiness depends on what happens. Joy is deeper. It’s not something we manufacture but a person who we’re invited to trust. Jesus is joy. Therefore no matter what happens we can have and experience joy. And that is tremendously good news.

I can’t but wonder if Mary was right or the Christ was at wedding in Cana. “Mother, it’s not yet my time.” Yet, He made a miracle happen . Was it the right time? If this was the first miracle, how did she know He could do something? (Whatever He tells you, do it?) I guess this is also how marriage works :) Listen to the woman .

Weakness Is a Gift Devotional from Pastor Tim In a world that glorifies strength, independence, and self-sufficiency, weakness can feel like failure. But the Gospel flips the script. It tells us that weakness is not something to hide or fix; it’s something to embrace. Why? Because it’s in our weakness that the sufficiency of God’s grace shines the brightest. Paul, who once prided himself on strength and credentials, came to see that “power is perfected in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). He wasn’t exaggerating – he was living in a new reality where grace, not grit, was his source. That same truth is yours. You don’t need to have it all together. In fact, pretending to only leads to exhaustion. The Gospel frees you to be honest: about your struggles, your needs, and your humanity. God never asked you to be strong enough. He invites you to rest in His strength. Being weak doesn’t mean being less spiritual; it means being real. Real about your need and real about His provision. You don’t need to chase strength. You already have it – In Him. Let today be a day where you stop performing and start depending. “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

This is my favourite prayer 🙏 total indication of not relying on my strength. Lord, please make it happen in the most impossible way so they know it's only You who could have done it.

That's the message from God. You just have to be ready to experience good things beyond measure.

This is good use of metaphor and its ability to impart meaning. I wish I could respond like this when asked ridiculous questions, I guess it comes with age

Lean Not On Your Own Understanding Our theological growth is not a race of human intellect or speed, but a journey of revelation dependent on the power of God. While we compare ourselves like runners—some fast, others "hobbling" on crutches—Jesus does seem to flip this hierarchy by declaring that those who claim to see are blind, while the humble truly see. Spiritual maturity is not found in mastering human techniques, but in an open heart, obedience, and a total reliance on God to make us right with Him and others. By setting aside our own understanding and leaning on the Spirit, we find that God's grace meets us exactly where we are, regardless of our perceived limitations. John 9:39: "Jesus said, 'For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.'" Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." 1 Corinthians 1:27: "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong."
