Economic freedom vs Spiritual freedom About 6 weeks ago I had an opportunity to get away for a long weekend with a couple of the people closest to me in life. In the midst of seemingly never ending work travel and stress it was a welcome reprieve During the Trip it became clear that I had sacrificed way too much personally for a job that I actively despised. For the last decade plus I’d been on a journey chasing numbers on a screen trying to “buy” freedom. It was an incredibly tough realization that in doing so I’d let the most important relationships in my life go by the wayside There have been plenty of ups and downs the last 10+ years but I always ended up in the same state. Instead what I have actually been yearning for is spiritual freedom (for me, inner peace and happiness). I have a long way to go to find that place, but believe it was paramount to make the observation. The harder work is putting the thought to action but I’m making changes and working on getting there

It has come to my attention that you can mute “$” and that seems to have done the trick May miss a cast I’d be interested in every now and then but eliminating 95% garbage is a major win for me
