I‘ve decided to discontinue the development of /castgame. Working on this project helped me learn a lot about how to build and ship product.
The key takeaway for me is the importance of identifying and talking to your target audience *before* development. I jumped straight into building without giving much thought to PMF, only realizing afterward that the idea was more of a solution in search of a problem.
Moving forward, I want to focus on solving real-world problems and contributing to making this technology more accessible, easier, and attractive for outsiders — one of the main reasons I joined this space.

Overall, I’m grateful for the experience, as I gained a lot of confidence as a builder and learned invaluable lessons. Thank you to everyone who supported the project by sharing their insights and feedback!

Announcing the first public cast.game testnet demo!
After months of development, the first iteration is finally complete and ready to be tested:
- install the cast action, execute it on your favorite cast in /base-builds & trade tickets - cast.game/action
- view game details, activity, and your tickets at cast.game

Bet on casts in a channel by buying "cast tickets":
1. Install the cast action.
2. Buy tickets for any cast in the channel.
3. After 48 hours, the most popular cast wins.
Prize pool distribution:
- 5% to channel
- 15% to cast creator
- 80% to ticket holders
Launching in June 2024.
