the status of AI Video rn is the definition of having a new moon in Mercury retrograde the amount of redos and rendering it requires asks for patience, feeling over technicality and depth over grandiose exposure. It’s also incredibly expensive as the models take so much compute to render previews, we are in the pay to learn not to scale phase and niche models are leading the curve instead of bc llms

releasing anything as an artist is incredible: period. the amount of hours, and soul-code that goes into making someone feel something is simply an undertaking. now doing that from a small island in the world, or as a unique form in your own way goes beyond mimicking the “minority, diversity” agenda to a breakthrough of the status quo. I’m moved by it, inspired and challenged everyday to do better. Builders of culture, creators of authentic rule and sovereign disposition. 🫰

Grateful to share about my journey as an artist and founder. We spoke about how I first met him during SALT Conference back in 2021, when he was speaking about NFTs. Fashion is absolutely not personal; style might be, yet in both cases my only job is to seize the moment. The last look I felt I had to mentally prepare myself for was in 2023 for my GQ editorial. I’m feeling it again today, the butterflies in my stomach. This week is one of those weeks. Where fashion should be purely that: fashion. and the look, when I pull it off, should have nothing to do with myself… Yet at the same time, it has everything to do with me. That’s why modeling is, in fact, an art form. After more than a decade of modeling, having this feeling is truly a blessing. 🙏🏽✨
