Fashion is absolutely not personal; style might be, yet in both cases my only job is to seize the moment. The last look I felt I had to mentally prepare myself for was in 2023 for my GQ editorial. I’m feeling it again today, the butterflies in my stomach. This week is one of those weeks. Where fashion should be purely that: fashion. and the look, when I pull it off, should have nothing to do with myself… Yet at the same time, it has everything to do with me. That’s why modeling is, in fact, an art form. After more than a decade of modeling, having this feeling is truly a blessing. 🙏🏽✨

There are things you do for friends and things you just don’t do. I am categorically NOT a singer, meaning I DO NOT sing. I repeat: I do not sing. So this one counts as doing it for a friend. I met J Balvin while shooting his music video together in NYC “No es Justo” and his vibes just like Shakira’s hips: don’t lie. So if you hear me singing in his IG stories, it’s because: I am a friend and his latest song is IMO an upcoming hit. Moral of the story: go listen to “Si Te Vas” and play “No es Justo” 🎬

My first visit to China was as Miss International Beauty Costa Rica 🇨🇳. I spent almost two months there, traveling with a group of women from around the world. One of my favorite memories is buying goji berries during a bus stop, she carried them in a basket, the taste was incredible! Over the past few months, while working with chinese curators @lanbo @einsightgallery I’ve honored these memories with deep respect for a culture and country I love ♥️
