Been slowly becoming more willing to integrate more and more ai things into my workflows. I still think people aren't doing anything useful with openclaw but I am certainly not at my maximum potential of using ai to assist me in things

Imagine that there’s a lake, and someone says “I’m gonna put 100 boats in this lake” & in the excitement around boats getting into this empty lake more and more people commit to also buying boats, totaling to over 500 boats in the lake. They buy boat after boat after boat until the lake is now full. Instead of building a system that could successfully hold 500 or more boats, they found it helpful to just throw money at the boats instead of recognizing that the problem is the lake as unable to all those accommodate boats effectively, and now none of the folks in the boats are having a good time. I’m happy boat sellers are able to get their boats off, but I fear they may never sell another. This is how I feel about the $500k+ earmarked to purchasing NFTs.

I think what’s happening is we’re conflating conversations about art & artists with conversations about the art market. They’re 2 very different conversations with different sets of characters, and while there are overlaps, we may need to better recognize that they’re separate.

Yards 🌳 this week, "Troubled Times", reflects on the changes with Sound, Nifty Gateway, Foundation, Farcaster, TBA & everything else not only being really bad for creators in web3, but I don't see a path to recovery

Upped to USB Club for the first time in a while. The idea of a gated file sharing network that requires you to use a specific USB drive to access is just…so good.

Thinking a lot about how good it is to produce my own music. Feels like through sample and sound selection, I'm able to say things that are either hard to say, would take too long, or are impossible to say through lyrics.
