@givinghands
Dear little me who almost went crazy trying to think big.
I get it now.
You weren't refusing to dream.
You were protecting yourself.
Because dreaming big in a small world is dangerous.
It makes you want what you can't have.
It shows you doors that stay closed.
It whispers "more" when "enough" isn't even here yet.
So you shut it down.
You stayed small on purpose.
You called it "being realistic."
But here's what I need you to know:
That madness you felt?
That ache between your ribs?
That voice screaming "THERE HAS TO BE MORE"?
That wasn't a breakdown.
That was a birth.
You were growing a soul big enough to hold everything coming for you.
And now?
Now I'm here. Living some of those dreams.
And I owe it all to you for surviving the stretch.
Thank you for not breaking completely.
Thank you for bending instead.
