You probably didn't notice anything but the Astroblock game contract got 3 upgrades this week containing some core important features:
🌀 WORMHOLE TOLES: Pay/Burn $ASTRO to push trough the cooldown (yes, bribing essentially). Faster travel through the galaxy. Today is takes 42.5 days to cross from one corner to the other without wormholes.
🤖 OPERATORS: The ability for you to delegate movement and discovery to another address. Pragmatically today: could be useful for making astroblock even quicker and gasless for new players. But could also allow to build AI agents playing & chasing for you in the galaxy or other cool plays.
🛰 EXTERNAL EFFECT 🔥: The biggest one. Which enables whitelisted contract to have an effect in-game. Enable external contract to:
- burn players deposits...
- slow you down in-game

Shipped lots of improvement around new players experience. Tutorial and bugs when starting from the entrypoint of the map.
Also sharper move & discovery times, should be a lot quicker with slightly improved animations.
Also a smart contract upgrade adding tolls to wormholes requiring $ASTRO burn to skip the cooldown time
New is a smart contract upgrade that'll allow to delegate in-game actions to an operator, which will enable gasless & faster gaming and allowing an agent to play to steer your ship

I'd like to publicly apologize to @trigo & @leosatyam , the biggest burners of $ASTRO who most likely burned so much by mistake because of bad UX, issue is now solved and default burning amount is 0 unless you purposefully decide to 😁

New fuel usage UI in the interface ✨
You can now quickly see the deposit in you've got in the game directly in the game interface. When you tap you'll get the classic deposit UI that's still the same and a new "Quick burn amount" card that allows you to define presets.
The "Compute optimal amounts" actually calculate the best amount that's the most efficient and the best $ASTRO / Speed boost ratio. At the moment it's very cheap. So that you have an idea. I might add some charts & more numbers for the nerds & people who want to dig, in the meantime you can check the game landing page, it's got a new look and live universe speed simulator https://astroblock.xyz
So you'll no longer burn by default but purposefully burn on each travel ⬇️
