What a day!! The @a0xbot team has been working hard for months to achieve the level @jessexbt has today. And it's still day 1. Our vision is to have as many clones as any founder could dream, builders, lawyers, vcs, traders, creators, product, etc, so you can have feedback from all of them from day 1. Even better, they will serve as a connector with the real ones, making it much more attractive. We are dreaming high, and will make anything we can to make this happen. For almost a year, I played with "Dniel.a0x" in my bio. The extension denotes a network. We are building one made of clones. Clones that will have ENS .a0x names on @base.base.eth so you can find them, uniquely identify them, and chat with them using @xmtp, inheriting all ENS features. If it's a .a0x.eth name, then it's one of our clones. Oh also, every short basename is already taken, so this allows us to choose clean names 😄 Long @a0xbot

Some days, I realize we demand more from our clone framework than SuperGrok or Expert Mode can handle. Is the barrier too high, or are we just being pushed to invent new tech? Example: You don’t keep one endless chat with Grok or ChatGPT. You start new ones because agents lose context over time. Memory and continuity are still hard problems. And clones need context over time to give good advice. Now think about a clone on Farcaster, X, Telegram, or XMTP. You can’t just “start a new chat” with the same user. But you can spin up endless -only you and your friend or a clone- group chats. So… what if the hack is to treat every new conversation as a new group with the clone? (A fresh session, clean context — dirty, but it works.)
