The specific proposed terms of both financings and how they relate to the idiosyncrasies of the business should be carefully considered. As you weigh these options with your board, you should think carefully of their incentives as well.

Interesting piece. 1) How do you accurately calculate intrinsic value when the steady state economics of these assets are essentially unknowable today? 2) A key aspect of MoS is the stability of the earnings stream (i.e. EPV). When all value is predicated on future growth, it’s tough to buy there is a strong MoS.

Created an account here out of complete curiosity. Own some crypto + look at some crypto businesses but not my area of focus. What jumps out to me is how obviously different the tone is here relative to Twitter - much more cordial / collaborative, much less shit posting. Early adopters seem to be reasonable folks.

Based. These new experiences can’t just have crypto as the “hook” - folks don’t care. They need to be better than what we have today in some interesting way that drives adoption, leveraging crypto as an architectural choice.
