I once visited a distant relative who was so stingy and that period, things were so hard for me. I mean, I could go two days without food but just biscuits since my money could afford that. So on this particular day, I went to get a shoe for a church program I had pleaded for weeks since I didn't have a good one then and I was so hungry and this person in question no dey give shishi. You must do something to earn a plate of meal in his house and we all knew. So when I got there, his kids were just coming out with food while I sat in the living room waiting. You know kids na. They came out and dropped the rice and stew and started playing while backing the food. They were dragging a particular toy. Is God not wonderful? So, since I didn't want the loaded rice and stew to waste because it was definitely going to pour and the father has to work for me as well to earn my "children stop playing" voice...
