Central & McCarren parks (+ any of the smaller parks dotted throughout the city), upstate esp Hudson Valley, the Hamptons, the Poconos + surrounding areas in PA, New Hope & Lambertville on the NJ/PA border, the Delaware Water Gap, the Cloisters, Palisades Park, the Appalachian Trail

All a short train or car ride away!

Great! They have a golden visa program (might’ve changed for 2024, see rebase.co), it’s very cheap, locals are friendly and speak English, awesome weather, yummy food (especially seafood), many great nearby areas in Portugal and Spain to explore, easy flights to rest of Europe + still a straight shot back to the US

Lisbon sounds amazing. How is it for Americans?

Love all of those cities and Sevilla is one of my favorite in the world. But the summer is *very* hot…
