Brevis: Embarking on the Era of Infinite Blockchain Computing 🧐🧐
At Devconnect in Argentina last November, Justin Drake, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, demonstrated a new block verification process: the verification nodes use the zkLighthouse client and rely solely on zero knowledge proofs generated by protocols such as Pico zkVM from Brevis to determine the validity of the block. This demonstration is likely to point to Ethereum's future expansion path - the blockchain no longer needs to repeatedly perform all calculations, only needs to verify externally generated proofs.
Brevis' positioning is not a single application, but a verifiable computing layer.
