Joining the Swans in the edge of season 3 opener (12:00 EST today barring bugs with the new sim engine)… Barry Bonds 2001! This might be one of the best seasons in history: 73 HR and 176 walks, put in by the steroid era’s top dog. We have pulled about 1/2 of Barry Bonds seasons so far, this might be the best of them. From 2001-2004, Barry Binds had more fWAR (an aggregate value stat) than 5 entire teams in MLB! Kinda proves that pulls are still the best way to upgrade your team, with the Free Agent marketplace not yet built, trading for stars very tough, and secondary sales still below the value people put on top cards.
