dev update: feels great to have the season running again. Didn't do much dev work at all today, was super pleased the sim ran without bugs, and let it roll for the day. I did just add Defensive Stats to player modals, so we can begin to see how our defenders are doing. Check out Rico Petrocelli 1969 for the Swans who has saved 3 baserunners already with brilliant play at SS did a quick look at cumulative stats. Just 4 games, but with 200 teams playing still a decent sample size. offense is WAY down, which I will continue to monitor as the season progresses. Runs Per Game (tier) S - 4.23 AAA - 3.29 AA - 3.64 A - 3.72 B - 2.40 😬 I like fixing balance issues via a blend of modifying variables and introducing new play mechanics. Might be fun to think about the hitting corollary for pitcher FIP stats. Clutch ability? Bill James would turn over in his grave on that one. Databaseball.fun
