1. i’ve already said that casualties are an awful byproduct of war - idk why you keep denying that 2. i’ve also said israel isn’t perfect and has made mistakes - idk why you keep denying that too 3. just because you view a source as credible doesn’t mean it is i know you’re a good guy and you mean well i also know that if someone was firing rockets into your backyard *for years*, you wouldn’t say “ok let’s just sit down and talk about it” i’d fight back, and im pretty sure you would too

this is factually incorrect, and you’re erasing the explicitly islamic foundations of multiple modern states saudi arabia, iran, brunei, and others were built around religious ideology as much (or more) than pakistan or israel saudi arabia was founded w wahhabism islam as the core ideology and national legitimacy is explicitly religious - the saudi royal family gets its right to rule from enforcing sharia law and protecting islam’s holiest sites, AND they have no constitution / are governed by the quran iran was founded after the secular shah was overthrown to establish a shiite theocracy under khomeini; the supreme leader is a religious figure and islam is a core organizing principle brunei, maldives, etc have islam as the state religion too, and many require the head of state to be muslim; some even prohibit non-muslims from citizenship to say israel is an anomaly in this regard is just flat out wrong

i think iran is run by terrorists and israel is not that does not mean israel is perfect - they’ve made plenty of mistakes, but genocide is not one of them you’ve made claims that israeli officials support genocide, yet you’ve come back with *zero* evidence to support that you ignore my question about why IRGC outposts are placed in schools and hospitals (which plays a huge role in civilian casualties when israel attempts to kill the IRGC’s terrorist leaders) you give me sources i’ve never heard of and then imply i’m the only one with bias it doesn’t sound like you actually want a conversation here

that would imply that israel is 1. deliberately killing a large number of ppl from a particular ethnic group AND 2. aiming to destroy that group i don’t see either of those things happening sure, many people have died - that’s a gruesome fact of war israel does not *aim* to destroy the palestinian people, nor does it *deliberately* kill non-militants but iran sure does! why else would they put their military outposts in schools and hospitals? israel wants to defend itself from the terrorist regime that controls the palestinian people and has consistently called for the eradication of israel

two can play that game why don’t you find an israeli official saying the things you claim they’ve said? meanwhile, here’s an example of how deep this runs - iranian leaders have been saying the same shit for decades “israel will soon disappear” (since 2005) “[the US is] a satanic power that, with gods will, will be annihilated” https://youtu.be/5hLDjGdJC0Q?si=-HVHdjpMsAY7uv1i

it implies that calls for genocide from large, well-funded states toward a tiny minority should alarm people WAY more than the reverse it’s not about “big religion vs small religion”; it’s about power asymmetry, intent, and capacity to act

the islamic republic is neither reformable nor open to negotiation, for decades, under the slogan ( no war, no negotiations ), it has held 85 million iranians hostage and set the region on fire, every diplomatic opportunity has either failed or been deliberately destroyed by the regime of mullahs now that war has broken out, we’re not surprised, we welcome it, this might finally be the only path toward even a small chance of liberation for the iranian people, real peace won’t exist until this regime is gone, millions have been silenced, exiled, tortured, or murdered under this system of terror i was glad to hear that 20 irgc terrorists were killed, they were not heroes, they were tools of a regime that’s crushed generations, every one of them gone is one step closer to justice, this isn’t about revenge , it’s about breaking a cycle of fear that’s gripped iran and the region for far too long

please re-read what i said: “arab nations have repeatedly called for the eradication of israel, while israel has repeatedly supported its right to defend itself” i presented - the size difference - the double standard around ethno-states - the difference in ideology i never said “all muslims believe X”

i can’t find a single example of israeli officials calling for the complete eradication of palestinians and/or gaza i can find many examples of iranian officials calling for the complete eradication of jews and israel and “the west” a world in which iran has nuclear weapons is a scary scary world i support any and all efforts to stop that from happening

israel creates technology that has positively impacted billions of people, and has made peace with egypt, jordan, UAE, etc meanwhile, iran repeatedly funds terrorist groups like hamas, hezbollah, and the houthis can’t name a single positive thing their regime has done for the world

what’s hilarious about this is that muslims want their 50 ethno-states and see no problem with them, but when jews want their single ethno-state (which is the size of new jersey) all hell breaks loose and you say anti-semitism isn’t real…

there are 15,800,000 jews on earth there are 1,900,000,000 muslims on earth the 1 jewish state covers 22,000 square kilometers the 50 muslim countries cover 30,000,00 square kilometers israel = ~0.07% the size of the muslim-majority world arab nations have repeatedly called for the eradication of israel, while israel has repeatedly supported its right to defend itself now tell me who’s promoting genocide?
