I see /regen heroes everywhere. Photo taken in Yikum, Nagaland, 2024 during a trip to visit my friend’s 98 year old grandmother. She lives alone and is pictured here cooking a variety of Chayote Squash, grown in her back garden. I ate the squash and with it, a little piece of the infectious joy I saw in her eyes.
