Base App x Farcaster: How to properly link the main wallet you are using to activate @base.base.eth on Base App
Many of you are using @baseapp.base.eth Base but the wallet displayed on Base App is a different wallet than the main wallet you were using on Base before, however this can be solved with a Farcaster account
Base App uses the Farcaster account to get identity + social data, which means:
➡️ Base App connects to Farcaster
➡️ Farcaster connects to the main wallet
➡️ So the main wallet you are using will automatically be synchronized to Base App.
✅ How to verify the main wallet on Farcaster
Open the Farcaster app
Go to Settings
Select Verify Address
Connect the main wallet
Verify the wallet (sign the transaction)
Set this wallet as the Primary Address
That's it: fast, neat, and accurate!
🎯 Conclusion
After completing the above steps:
Base App ↔️ Farcaster will be linked
Main Wallet ↔️ Farcaster also verified
→ Auto-sync → Base App receives user's main wallet
