Isn’t the whole fucking point of crypto that we need more composability, interoperability and self sovereignty? If the recent “tip policing” should show us anything it’s that projects controlled by a single autocrat are subject to their whims. When you agree on a set of rules to have them changed at the Nth hour, it’s beyond disappointing, it is trust breaking. Not cool. Dick move. Isn’t the idea of community led growth just that? The ability to arrive at consensus and to eliminate single points of failure? Are we returning to a feudal system with kings an fiefdoms? I sure the hell hope not. I for one will not be a $degen share cropper. So, thanks, it’s been fun… I’m out.
