Voter turnout in Japan is 55%, but among people under 30 it's 30%. Young people's indifference to politics is directly linked to major problems such as the declining birthrate and aging population caused by politicians' preferential treatment of elderly households and neglect of young people.
As a Japanese person, I would like to learn from Taiwan.
