1/ Surge is the end-game attention protocol on Farcaster. Because the Farcaster is decentralized by design, feeds can not rely on private web behavior data like page views or click tracking. The only valid input is what lives natively on the network: likes, recasts, replies, follows and those are the social primitives on the Snapchain. This means every content recommendation engine built on Farcaster will ultimately draw signal from these interactions.
