All women know.
Deep down we always know.
The guy isn’t right.
He talks too much. He loves too little. He listens like it’s a chore.
Something in your gut whispers, “this is not your person.”
But you stay.
You rewrite your standards.
You beg God to make him better instead of asking why you’re begging at all.
You cling to the moments he’s almost right, forgetting the days he was all wrong.
Why do we do that?

What is it that makes women stay when their intuition already left the relationship?

why do people always like to act as if men don’t parade themselves as what they’re not just to get something from you. not to say women are completely blameless but men are so conniving and social conditioning has made women tie all of their worth to being coupled up; that’s why you see them still in marriages where they’re being violated. if you want to ask this question, you’ll need to do a breakdown on the system that set women up.

You're absolutely right men do perform. Some of them are masters of illusion. But the problem isn't just individual manipulation, it's that society handed women the script to stay, to shrink, to settle.
The system said:
 Marriage is the prize.
Endurance is love.
Fix him with kindness.
So when a woman’s gut screams leave, the world whispers stay.
And that’s how harm becomes normalized.
We need to call out the men who deceive and the systems that made women ignore the deception. Both things can be true.

there has always been for women, like we literally have people that shame single moms all night and day on the internet and irl. there’s no use playing both sides especially as a woman. look around how many men have you seen come out to calm their fellow men out. the day women learn solidarity is the day we will start to have hope for freedom. until then, let’s keep trying to see both sides 😂

Absolutely I agree with you. Victim-blaming keeps the cycle going, and women have carried the burden of shame for far too long. The world loudly questions women’s pain but goes silent when it’s time to question the source. You’re right we should absolutely be asking why men are conditioned to harm, manipulate, and perform in the first place.
But I also believe we can hold space for both: Calling out the system that enables men to deceive, and Acknowledging how that same system teaches women to romanticize red flags.
Because that’s how we dismantle it from all angles.

there’s a reason for the ignorance. if you’re talking about a problem, you don’t question the victims, instead you criticize the perpetrators. that’s how oppressive systems are dismantled. as women, we’re already subjected to shame and ridicule for our choices (even harmless ones) in men but little noise for the men that cause us pain. don’t ask why women stay cos you know already, ask why the men behave like that.
