If your reference is Wikipedia then yes the origin of Mandi is Yemen but in fact Mandi is Arabian peninsular dish particularly from Saudi Arabia (eastern and western and southern and northern part of the kingdom). And it has verity and different names and cooking. For example Mandi Hasawi (Al-Ahsa province in Saudi Arabia) they have their unique way of cooking it. In hijaz region there’s 2 types which is the regular mandi and Nadi (cooking of Nadi is also different). In northern Saudi Arabia it was used to be called “Zarb” just like in Jordan (Zarb has similar technique of cooking Mandi and it’s a Jordanian bedouin dish).
