4️⃣ Stimulating on-chain activity ⛓️ Base already has strong on-chain activity — and it has had it for a long time, without massive farming campaigns. 5️⃣ Community building 👥 This is basically a continuation of point #4. And this is where Base actually becomes interesting. Because their real strategy seems to be building builders. Not just users. Builders ! But I’ll explain that idea in more detail in the next post. 6️⃣ Corruption 🕴️ One of the main motivations for many projects is simply to allocate tokens to themselves. The size of the project and the amount of investment does not guarantee honesty. Just remember #zkSync. A ConsenSys-backed project with hundreds of millions in funding still managed to distribute a huge portion of tokens to insiders and affiliated wallets — ignoring most of the principles mentioned above. I think now the picture becomes a bit clearer. I’ll connect all the dots and share my conclusions in the next post.
