I'm a swim instructor who teaches kids of all ages. Lily's parents have given her the mental strength to face the challenges of swimming. Hard work in practice, loyalty to the swim team (if she's on one), compassion for fellow swimmers, and humility in accepting constructive criticism make her a great swimmer. I hope parents can help their kids know their worth and be confident in the water, just like any young swimmer should.
